The New Testament begins with the wonderful accounts of the birth and ministry, death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, contained in the four gospels. Every believer needs to study the life and teachings of Jesus, not only when they become a Christian, but again and again.
Jesus said, “If you love me you will obey what I command.” Maybe we don’t think of Jesus giving commands, but as you read through the gospels you will discover that there are some important things that He tells us to do. In this series of studies we are going to discover what these are.
These studies are suitable for new believers who have a limited grasp of English. They are written in a teaching style with just a few basic questions to help the group look into the Bible passage.
Matthew wrote his gospel to show that Jesus was the Messiah & King the Jewish people had been waiting for. This series of 20 studies focuses on the theme of the Kingdom of God. Each study includes teaching and some questions for discussion. Worksheets for the group members are in italics.
